Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift left the Super Bowl together after the Kansas City Chiefs’s 22-40 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The couple hasn’t been seen on any public date since, but behind closed doors, Swift has been a great comfort to Kelce.
In the days after the game, sources spoke about how the singer was encouraging him. Now, Kelce is opening up about another way Swift has helped: by having a discography full of comforting songs.

On his New Heights podcast, Kelce’s brother, Jason, asked the tight end whether he has been listening to any music to help him process the loss.
Kelce quipped, “Jason, the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first. Right. I listen to music that is very telling of my mood, yes.”
Jason suggested that Kelce was listening to sad country music. Kelce corrected him. “I just listen to Taylor’s music,” he said. “She has something for everything.”
Jason agreed, saying, “That’s fair. That’s a good point. No matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music.”
“Yeah,” Kelce acknowledged. “And how the Eagles broke my heart!”
Kelce and Swift are currently both off work, with Swift having finished her Eras Tour in December. On February 11, a source told People that Kelce and Swift were enjoying their break together. “Their lives have been a whirlwind since they first started dating,” the insider said. “Things seem great between them, and they’re incredibly happy together.”
Seven days later, a source told Us Weekly that Swift was “just trying to be there for Travis as much as possible” during this time.
A second source said that they were also solidifying their own plans as a couple: “There’s no way to have a relationship when they’re all over the place with work. It’s going to be easier now to find time to go over plans and make sure everything aligns.”
The first source said they are ready to get engaged: “They are both on the same page about taking the next step.”
